Leather Spine Journal Walnut
Individually hand-sewn by the artisans of Nepal, this leather spine notebook is ideal for journaling, sketching, scrap-booking, pressing flowers or as photo albums and guest books.
96 deckle edge pages (192 pages total) of lokta paper, made from the barks of lokta plants that grow on the southern slope of Nepal’s Himalayas between 9,000 and 13,000 feet.
The journal’s rustic cover is dyed from black walnut husks.
Vegetable dyed water buffalo leather spine gives journal durability and rich texture.
The journal comes in two different sizes 5X8 and 6X9 inches to capture your adventures.
Lokta bush is not destroyed when harvested, it regrows new shoots that reach full maturity in five years.
Lokta paper has been produced using similar methods for centuries and that tradition continues today. This paper is tree-free, acid-free and is regarded as one of the world’s finest handmade papers.
