Safari Journal Green
Individually hand-sewn by the artisans of Nepal, this elastic closure notebook is ideal for journaling, sketching, scrap-booking, pressing flowers or as photo albums and guest books.
96 clean cut pages (192 pages total) of lokta paper, made from the barks of lokta plants that grow on the southern slope of Nepal’s Himalayas between 9,000 and 13,000 feet.
The journal’s forest green cover is handmade from 100% natural vegetable dye.
The journal comes in two different sizes to capture your adventures.
Lokta bush is not destroyed when harvested, it regrows new shoots that reach full maturity in five years.
Lokta paper has been produced using similar methods for centuries and that tradition continues today. This paper is tree-free, acid-free and is regarded as one of the world’s finest handmade papers.
