O! forest fire summer trees

cheerfully, you burn to stimulate regeneration and new growth

jack pines pop open to spread their seeds

woodpeckers feed on black beetles crawling on burned woods

moose, elk and I enjoy the new vegetation growth

but fire after fire due to climate change

it is more frequent now unlike many years ago

while aspens re-sprout quickly from stumps and roots of burned trees

spruce and fir are getting no time to come back to life

human interference has endangered aquatic and wild life species

deteriorated air quality

threatened many communities

I chant the name of the sovereign Lord

please give us wisdom to lessen our impact on the environment
